Modern Classic

The inspiration for the interior finishes and designs for this Modern Classic home came from the unique architecture and from the clients' request for interesting details. The clients wanted the interiors to exude a modern yet relaxed feel, where the interiors were an extension of the lush Bayou landscaping.

Upon entering this Modern Classic home, the guest is greeted by a unique stairwell which combines stained stair steeps of French oak and walls of stacked split-face honey gold ledge stone. For additional interest, the designers located an asymmetrical assortment of openings in the entry hall stair wall which is seen from the foyer. Wherever you look, the attention to detail is evident and makes this Modern Classic like no other.

The comfortable, rich colors, including mostly neutrals with warm grays and khakis were used throughout the home with punches of color for interesting contrast.

The design of this sun-drenched kitchen thoughtfully balances many opposing elements: light and dark, cool and warm, contemporary and comfortable.

Bamboo Guest Bathroom

Powder room with LED back-lit mirror, Fossilstone Countertop, red glass tile wall and vanity from Ann Sacks.

An organic fusion of nature and nurture sets the distinctive tone for this spa-inspired master bathroom.  It is sleek, sophisticated and warmed by the sun-drenched windows and neutral palette.

The shower and steam room floors are laid with Nova Blue mosaics in various textures to both porvie slip-resistant flooring and juxtapose the honed Nova Blue countertops. (Materials from Thorntree)
