Lakeside Luxury

Sprawling views of Lake Conroe inspired the colors and decorative touches of a stylish second home.
Immediately beyond the soaring glass and wrought iron front door, the two-story barrel ceiling reflects the colors of the water, faux painted in shades of green bronze and gold. Faux finish by Imago Dei Gallery (http://imagodeigallery.com/).
In the living room, bare windows reach the ceiling, emphasizing the room's height and offering panoramic view of the lake.

A local artist Imago Dei Gallery (http://imagodeigallery.com/) hand painted sand dunes and a palm tree on one of the living room walls.
The kitchen and breakfast nook provide a "tropical Texas" kid-friendly space for the family and their friends. The cabinets were faux finished to look like leather by Kevin Davis Wall Artisans (http://www.kdwa.net/).

Reflective finishes and meticulously placed mirrors transform this powder room into a larger than life reflection of light.

Located on the second floor, the master suite is fit for Hollywood royalty with its glamorous black and red details, lavish decor, and expansive view of the lake.

From the subtle pattern of the antique Oushak rug to the billowing window treatments, soft colors and textures reminiscent of the lake just outside the patio door infuse this guest retreat with a pleasing calm.
Bunk beds, model sailboats, walls painted to look like planks of wood, and navy blue contribute to the kid-approved nautical bedroom.
Family Room

The sun drenched horizon stretches into the billiard room making it the perfect spot for a game of pool, a game of cards watching an afternoon ball game or a casual drink.
With custom artwork touching every surface of this Italian Grotto inspired room, one would never know that the space doubles as a Wine Room and Laundry Room. Can you see it?
Theater

The sunlight pours into the study from the two story butt glass windows.

Ultimately, the attention to detail is what allowed the home to be so many things at once: casual yet elegant, practical yet visually appealing, and personal yet tasteful.  All the tiny touches, allows the house to come together extravagantly yet functional.
