2012 High Point Market with Jane Page Design Group

High Point, NC - Furniture Market 2012 with Jane-Page, Laura, Ashley and Crystal!
The High Point Market is the largest furnishings industry trade show in the world, bringing more than 80,000 people to High Point every six months. Serious retail home furnishings buyers can be found in High Point twice a year because if you can’t find it in High Point…it probably doesn’t exist.

Here is what we found after one day of Market.

Laura says “You don't have to "build-in". Customized wall units featured in Emerson et Cie at High Point Market allows you to incorporate customized book cases into any room and the best part is that you can take it with you when you move."
Ashley says “Sunburst shapes continue to dominate the decorative mirror market.”

Crystal says “Heavy metal in delicate proportions can add an attractive detail to a room.”
Jane-Page says “We are seeing lots of bright colors and impressive designs!”
We are here until Monday, check back to see what we find!

"Faux" a Dramatic Statement

"Faux" a Dramatic Statement

Faux finishes, stenciled details and Venetian plaster are just a couple of techniques and a fabulous way to introduce a custom element to a room.  Whether applied on the wall, ceiling, cabinets and sometimes floor, faux finishes add an element of texture and richness that enhances any space.

A simple glaze was added to the island to create a fresh look.
The glaze was applied by Joni Fife of Transformations : (936) 438-0085

A silver leaf was applied to the ceiling and cabinets. A silver
metallic finish with a stencil design was applied to the walls.
